Pollywiggle's garden is a mass of purple & pink blooms from this magic, small cover plant, which just spreads around the edges of all the borders. Pulmonaria, or lungwort, is perfect for early springtime colour in the front of flower borders. It pops up, seems to spread visibly in March, and blossoms well into April. It is a delight after the cold, drab winter days and lifts the heart. I have dug up numerous clumps for friends and it never ceases to please. It just continues to spread and is a beautiful contrast with the bright yellow of daffodils. This is my recommendation for and easy little springtime wonder plant!
